More gems from my Beth Moore study...

This week our topic is faith. We are reading the "hall of faith" from Hebrews chapter 11. Today's lesson was on Enoch. "By faith, Enoch was taken from this life so that he did not experience death" it says in Hebrews. In Genesis 5:21-24 we find the record of Enoch. He fathered Methusaleh, and lived to be 365 years old. And he walked with God. That is all it says about Enoch.

What would it be like to walk with God as Enoch did? The bible doesn't tell us anything about it, no miracles, military victories, no martyrdom. He simply walked with God.

Right now I am thinking perhaps it was like Adam walking with God in the garden. They took a stroll together like father and son, like friend with friend, just because they enjoyed each other's company.

I would love to walk with God like that!
