Answersingenesis.com is the site for the group by the same name. The mission of this group is bible apologetics, which does not mean they apologize for the bible, but logically defend it and teach others to do the same. Their focus is on the book of Genesis, because it is the most attacked biblical book of our time. "Demolishing Strongholds" is a study I recently ordered from there and will be presenting to a youth group I am involved in.The same study is available for younger children as well and I am sure there is comparable material for adults.

Last night I looked up Ken Ham on you tube, he is one of the founders of the group. I was able to watch a video of him teaching. This is, of course, is the free way to see if he appeals to you or not.

The OALC does nothing in the line of apologetics in any area of the bible, although I see no reason why studying genesis and origins would be any sort of threat to what they do teach. I have found it to be a great encourager of my faith, to be able to love the Lord with my mind as fervently as I can with my heart and soul. I used to think the mind had to be suppressed.

Suppress the intellect! Remember that edict? I suppose studying anything is a threat to that mandate.

I LOVE THIS STUDY!!! If you want to know WHY you believe in Creationism instead of Evolution, and HOW to effectively debate with others on this issue, this is YOUR study.

My answer to the evolutionist: "In the beginning God created...."
Although sometimes it takes more dialogue than just that. I read a good argument against evolution today. It is to this effect: If Adam and Eve evolved, just when did they speak a language? The Bible record shows them speaking an unlearned language fluently. Answers in Genesis is a good ministry. They have held conferences in my town.

Amen! I like that! And it is SO true. I'm so grateful that there is Absolute Truth in this world and that there are Christians (like Ken Ham and others) who teach it!
